Rated 3 out of 5 by Not sure about this yet I tried shredding baby carrots yesterday. Some pieces of carrots got stuck between the white housing and the round shredder disk. What did get through the shredder disk were quite shredded, though. I'm concerned about the food waste. I also had large chunks of carrots mixed in with the shredded carrots in the finished product. The white plastic housing held the orange color of the carrots and no amount of washing could get the stain off. This was my first use so I was surprised that no other reviewers mentioned staining or material remaining between the white plastic housing and the round shredder. I will keep working with it, but may return. 10/28/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Convenience I have only used my slicer one time so far. I made a mess the first time I used it because I didn't select the correct slicer cup to attach. I changed it to a thicker slice and it worked great for home made potato chips. I look forward to using it to shred cheese. I was disappointed though that I left the blade part drying over night and found that it had what appeared to be rust spots on it the next morning after only using it one time. I wiped it down and it looks okay now but I will definitely dry it off with a cloth from now on instead of letting it drain on a cloth. 06/05/2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for cheese and carrots I love this attachment for GRATING CHEESE. It does a really fast job, and I have now taken to using it to do a big block of cheese for the begging of the week, and keeping it in a tupperware container for use in my fridge. I also think it does a great job at doing carrots, especially for carrot cake/muffins, etc. The attachments aren't great for a lot of softer foods, as it sort of mangles them, and using a mandolin, is kind of necessary for things like cucumbers or etc. It does a really good job on prepping potato latkes, because it doesn't matter that it turns the potatoes and onions into a goopey mess because of their high water content. 05/13/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Should be called The Pulverizer This product does NOT slice, it pulverizes. The blade are not sharp enough to cut a cucumber, as advertised. I had to apply a significant amount of force to get the vegetables through the blades. The vegetables wouldn't slice, they were crushed. A large portion of the veggies would get stuck between the plastic and the metal. Not to mention the fact that the cucumber puree flew everywhere. I tried faster. I tried slower. Still a mushy mess. I can't believe I wasted $55 on this piece of junk attachment. Very disappointing. I'll be tossing it (not donating it) as I don't want someone wasting their $3 on it at the thrift store. 01/28/2015
