Rated 1 out of 5 by Not leather, not durable. First of all - this belt is NOT LEATHER. It says over and over in the product description that it's leather, the name of the belt has the word "leather" in it, but the belt itself is stamped "SYNTHETIC LEATHER" which we all know means "plastic". Sheesh. Second of all, despite the belt being plastic (that's oddly scented like leather - ew) the style looked nice and it seemed like a solid flexible plastic belt. Certainly good enough for my 11-year old to wear with his school dress code. Within a few weeks of daily use, however, the buckle (which rotates to reverse the belt) came off. The anchored piece of hardware has a small peg sticking out of it that's textured to, I assume, give the buckle some stability after being turned, but there is absolutely nothing else to hold the darned thing on. There are two tiny screws that secure the anchor to the belt and one of them has worked its way halfway out all on its own. It was only a matter of time before it fell out completely and then we'd have had no way to keep the buckle attached, anyway. So now I've got a completely useless, plastic belt. A real disappointment. 10/15/2014
