Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Manual Can Opener I've Found This can opener is so smooth and easy, it makes me not want to use an electric one again. I wanted to have a back up, in case of a power outage, but I haven't used the electric one since I purchased this one. It seems to be well made and hopefully will last a long time. 02/24/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS CAN OPENER! Did I tell you that I love this can opener? The soft grip handles are easy on the hands, especially when you have to open several cans. It locks on tight the first time. When you open it fully it is a small soda/beer bottle or jar "burper". You can put it under the lip of jars so that they "burp" and release the air seal so that you can easily unscrew them. That's a plus for seniors and those who might have arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. It also washes easily. I suggest wash, rinse, and dry right away, don't leave soaking. 06/02/2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by easy to use, very functional! The can opener has a good sized handle and knob and is very easy to use. I don't use too many canned foods, so I have tried this on only two cans since I bought it last month. It opened one can like a hot knife slicing thru butter. But needed a lot more effort on the second can whose lid was a little deeper from the top than the other one. I cannot rule out the possibility that the lid was a little dented so giving the benefit of the doubt. So I was very happy with the product. 07/06/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I have Long Been Sold on OXO Products I have been buying and using OXO kitchen gadgets for years and have always been satisfied. After trying some "trendy" can openers, I gave up on them and bought an OXO years ago. The teeth on that one have finally worn down and skipped cutting spots. This one is replacing that very old one and I am a happy can-opening cook again. :-) 11/18/2015
