I love this wash clothes, because it is thick and soft.
But.... Other reviews about hem coming undone our correct.
My washcloth's hem also came undone.

Other reviewers had the same problem - after the first washing, threads had come out everywhere. The stitching on the washcloths is terrible. These did not hold together at all. They look like I've had them for a year and it's been a month. The good part is they are very thick, absorbent and soft. But when you wash them once and find the Chaps tag laying in your washing machine because all the threads have come undone, you can tell the quality isn't there. I was very disappointed in these washcloths. I also purchased the hand and bath towels. Same problem with those only not quite as bad. They started falling apart after about the third wash. Go with another brand. These are not the quality they should be to carry the Chaps name and price.

As instructed, I washed the towels before using them in cold water with mild detergent. When I took the towels out to dry, the gray towels had light green splotches/blots all over the towels. I was very disappointed since the towels were quite expensive. I ended up returning them.

I bought 4 bath towels, 3 hand towels and 3 washcloths. They were one of the most expensive towels but they had the colors I wanted. Within 3 months of using the washcloths, one started falling apart. So I stupidly bought another one because it matched my other towels. Needless to say that one fell apart after a dozen uses and so did the other 2. The "hem" on all of them came apart. The bath towels I haven't had a problem with. Just the washcloths and they were actually the most expensive if you compare it to the size of a bath towels!
