I actually bought two of these! One for me for a little spa patio- fits great and if taken care of you can use real would pieces or a dura flame log. I recommend putting a little sand in the bottom to disperse heat. The directions were all visual- so you need a little organization know how to separate all the nuts, washers, bolts and pieces before starting assembly. Also, be patient- only one of the screws was semi-not threaded so we had to be very careful not to strip it. We're not talking a raging bonfire- but a little ambiance - better than some candles and enough to take the chill out around a couple of patio chairs.
Additionally, I was so happy I bought one for my daughter-in-law for her birthday. It's fits perfectly in her little courtyard. She loves it! It doesn't look cheap, and it's heavy as all get out and stable- 35#. It was packed extremely well- my husband and I were very impressed. All in all a good buy for a little space, otherwise spend the money and get a fire pit ;).

Make sure and read the measurement size before purchasing. Very small!

I was excited to get this but when I opened the box I was very disappointed. What they called "instructions" was a diagram of the item and unreadable info. This fire pit is only able to have pieces of wood about 7" in length and you can't put that much into it. I'm going to use it as a flower pot and buy a "real" one.

That's about it, it's only so so. It's great quality metal and I didn't mind building the thing, but it wasn't as cute as I though it would be. It is also smaller than it looked in the photo. I am going to keep it because of the craftsmanship of the chimenea is well worth the money. I only wished that I knew how small it was.
