When I ordered this shoe, I noticed it had thicker soles than other shoes, so I thought they would last a decent amount of time. After only two months, the soles wore through to the inner layer, which means no traction, and water can get in. These aren't worth the money. It wouldn't be as bad if it took even six months to get here, but two is inexcusable.

my husband has to take the insoles out because of special inserts he has to use, this is his 2nd pair and the 1st pair lasted him almost 4 years and were great, this pair has a lump or something near the toes inside the bothers him has he walks, it feels like the insole under the foot is cracked and is pushing up, big problem is he cant find shoes that had flat insoles like these

I have had at least 5 pairs of these shoes over the past seven years. I will keep buying them because they are very comfortable, look good, and feel almost like a sneaker. I also occasionally ride a motorcycle to work, and they lace up tight, and have a nice non-slip sole.
The down side to these shoes is that they do not last. Every pair I've had - the sole will split across the width of the shoe, right between the arch and ball of the foot. The the outer covering on the laces will wear and fray. I wear them only to work, I work a desk job, and do not do a lot of walking in them, and they only last about 18 months at best.
