Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and durable! I love the New Sprouts play food! Totally worth the price difference of the cheap plastic play food. Soft, durable and realistic looking. The basket this comes in is a cute addition to her kitchen play. My daughter loves playing with her kitchen! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and interactive learning All four of my kiddos love this set. From my two older kids who love to pretend to create meals and play recipes or set up their own farmer's market in the living room, to my younger kids who simply like to push the food around in our pretend shopping cart, this cute little set is a hit! While my children are playing, they are learning about healthy food choices while using their imaginations! Leaning and imaginative play combined! *I received this basket in exchange for a review on my website.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bushels of Fruity Fun My son loves play food. He likes to pretend he is cooking, eating and shopping. He also likes to pretend he is feeding the dog play food. I love that he has a great imagination and that I can count on Learning Resources to help him with one of his favorite forms of pretend. This was perfect for my busy 3 year old. While he loves play food, getting him to eat the real deal can be a challenge. Using pretend fruits and veggies has been helpful to breaking the barrier. At this time last year my son would run and hide at the sight of grapes or an orange. Now that we have incorporated pretend fruit into our daily play he will go as far as to lick any kind of fruit. That is a baby step, but an important one! Before long he will have the courage to eat fruits I hope. The Bushel of Fruit is a great set of pretend food. It is the right size for small hands. The pieces are sturdy and durable which is very important to me, my son can be rough on toys. I love that these fruits are easy to wash and dry. The aspect of imaginative play makes them perfect for young children. I have been very impressed with this set of play food, I hope to get the Bushel of Vegetables for him soon to begin working the wonderful world of veggies into his play time and diet.
