Rated 1 out of 5 by from I want the old fit!!! I bought these corduroy pants several years ago. Size 8 regular...they were wonderful. But it's finally time to replace them. I tried last year, but the thigh was SO tight in the same size I used to get (and no, I couldn't go larger as the waist would have been too big). So I tried again this year. NO GO. Total wishful thinking. Still the same thing. Super tight in the thigh. I'm so terribly disappointed. I don't think I'll ever try these again. But now I'm faced with the awful need to find a replacement that fits as well as they used to. *sigh*

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not warm pants. I bought 3 pairs of women Sonoma corduroy pants about 5 years again.I was very impressed with the quality of the texture of the corduroy. So now because of this impending very cold winter we are about be having, I decided to reorder the same 3 colors of women's Sonoma corduroy pants. To my utter surprise they came!! neither had the quality ,nor the texture from previous quality, but lighter and nothing like what I was expecting to get as winter warm corduroy.. Fyi I still have the old ones as proof of what I purchased then compared to now!.. I may not return them because they may can be worn in summer. But I was shocked the quality fell off it's standard.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have purchased the Sonoma brand Corduroys for years. Recently I have noticed they are not making the bootcut corduroys. I was absolutely in love with the cut, material, and length of the bootcut corduroys. They fit perfect! However, this year I could not find the Sonoma bootcut so I purchased the straight leg corduroys. What a huge disappointment. They were very short, and very tight. I cannot wear them unless I lose ten pounds. Even then I won't wear them because they are too short ... above the ankle. I purchased the Croft and Barrow brand of straight leg corduroys a few weeks later because they were sold out of the bootcuts and they fit similar to the Sonoma brand. I like them and would buy the Croft and Barrow corduroys again, but won't buy the Sonoma ones again any time soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better Sonoma bootcut cord pants than last year Having bought a couple pairs of these last year and the belt loops ripping out of the material, these are much better. Also last year's pants had exposed button pockets on the back side that were not flattering. These are flat and unadorned and look much better on the rear. Like last year, they are a modern fit with a lower waist and tighter in the thigh area, but with the bootcut, it can give you a flattering appearance, especially in a darker color. The material is thin, so they are not super warm. I have found the Croft & Barrow straight fit cords to be much heavier, but not as flattering a fit, especially after they stretch a bit because of the 2% spandex. I liked them so much better this year and with the holiday sales, I ended up purchasing all the colors in three different orders.
