I just love my new red Keurig. It works just like my old one, so there wasn't any surprises. The red is a nice dark color, but not maroon. It is also not as light as cherry red. I have a Red kitchenaid mixer and the keurig coordinated very well. It is ever so slightly darker than the mixer, but doesn't clash. We have refillable plastic cups that were made by an off brand and they work just fine in this unit. The price is becoming VERY affordable on these, so if you haven't switched to Keurig, now is a good time to try them out! You can also run the machine without a k-cup for hot water to make hot chocolate or tea!
Rated 4 out of 5Â by njpagirl Best "classic" brewer available
We purchased this brewer after our Premium brewer died. We won't buy a new 2.0 Keurig because the hot cocoa we prefer isn't Keurig "approved" - can't use the pods. We gave up things we prefer on the Premium - water resouvir (sp?) is smaller and we have to keep refilling it; no light to show water level; not as many cup sizes and we used the largest on the Premium for teas - now have to use 2 small cups for close to the same amount as the largest offered on the Premium. It's a good standard brewer and we got it at a great price with Keurig points.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Docrob Easy controls, awkward reservoir
We bought this model to replace an older version that did not respond well to descaling instructions despite several attempts and carefully following video instructions. The controls are much easier to use than the "menu" on the older model. We find the narrower reservoir more difficult to insert in the base but like the material it is made of that so far seems to stay cleaner after rinsing. Also, this machine is noisier and there is more of a delay in dispensing coffee after selecting the cup size. Overall, we like the Keuring system and do recommend the product notwithstanding these minor drawbacks.

I bought my brewer fro college and I wish I could use it. Every time I've tried to make a cup from a pod or just ran straight water to make tea, there's this horrible taste that makes it undrinkable. I've refilled the reservoir and ran numerous blank runs to try and get it out but nothing is working.
