Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versitile and Light Good size for an average portion of soup. Fairly thin and lightweight for an onion soup bowl. Not meant to retain the heat like those chunky oven to table ones you see in Bistros. But fine just for serving. My elderly Mom uses this for cereal since the handle makes it easier for her to carry. I have used them to serve nuts and dip. Same color as French Countryside. I mix the patterns to make it more interesting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I have a large collection of Italian Countryside so I was excited to order the onion soup bowls. The bowls are not up to Mikasa standards. They say microwave safe but the handles become extremely hot after a very short time. The china is pitted and discolored. They have some nice products but this is not one of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great service Curious---why are the onion soup bowls thicker and heavier than the ones I ordered in the past???? The last two shipments have been heavier then my original order.
