I love my Artisan stand mixer! It has inspired me to experiment with many different recipes.
It is well made and I love the fact that they are not constantly changing it. Some appliances I have purchased are outdated within six months. When I have purchased them, I have found they have had a complete upgrade and the expensive appliance I purchased are obsolete and the upgrades cannot be used on the original machine I purchased .
This is not so with my kitchen aid mixer. I speak to people who purchased their mixer forty years ago, and they still love it as much as I love mine. My only regret is that I didn't buy this mixer years ago.

I bought my stand mixer a few months ago and then bought the juicer attachment for it and I am so happy I did! The mixer alone is fantastic and now having and using the juicer is so awesome, the juice is so awesome and there is very little pulp left as it juices so well but my garden enjoys whatever pulp I give it. I am so happy I invested in my mixer and can hardly wait to get the next attachment for it. Having 1 appliance that is so versatile with so.many attachments is the only way to go and saves on counter space and storage space too! I highly recommend this awesome machine and its attachments!

I've had my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer a couple of weeks now and have used it for making bread and cookies so far. I start out with the paddle and switch to the dough hook when it starts getting thick. I can hear the motor straining on my heavy 3 loaf raisin bread recipe, but it gets the job done. I like the lock in bowl and the shield that keeps flour in its place. I also have the glass bowl which is wider and holds more. I like the tilt-head, I've never used the other kind. Two of my daughters have Kitchenaid mixers and love them, so I thought I'd get one too. I got the white and they think I'm boring,

I love baking bread, and always have. However, I have felt that I would bake bread more frequently if it didn't create such a massive mess that takes as much time to clean up as making the bread did. Now, my beautiful red, 5-quart tilt-head stand mixer steps in and confines the mess. I still get to knead the bread after removing it from the mixing bowl--this is the most enjoyable step for me--but the bread hook alone would probably be enough.
There is also a shield that fits over the mixing bowl that has a chute for adding other ingredients. You can add flour to the bread dough and it doesn't fly up into your face and wherever else it feels like landing. Brilliant!
