What's the use a leather belt that is covered by black plastic. The plastic peeled off in the holes due to the buckle the first time my husband used it. Now looks like an old belt and have to be thrown away. For the price, I thought it was a whole leather belt not leather only the back.

Generally I love Levis / Docker's products but this concept slipped past quality control... I have a black and a brown version of this belt and they need to be thrown away. Soon after you lose the receipt, expect the finish to start peeling all over... Hey Kohls, if you want a few of these back to send to the manufacturer tell me quick. These are going in the garbage soon.

Reviewer 'PamJ' has had worse luck than me, but same issue... I've had two of these with the same peeling issue. Both were xmas gifts which makes it less annoying; however, looking for a belt online now and will not be buying this. Looks and feels great for 6-12 months of business week usage. That would mean it peels after wearing around 100-200 times.

At first glance, this belt was perfect; however, after my husband wore it a few times, the thin leather veneer began to peel off where the buckle is when he has it on. We are VERY disappointed in this belt which is marked genuine leather, but obviously is only a THIN veneer of genuine leather
