Rated 1 out of 5 by won't heat to temp! DO NOT BUY! This grill would have been great if it worked. I only found a small sheet of paper inside with cleaning instructions and a limited # of instructions on how to use the grill. However I guessed on the temp I would need and programmed the grill to 400 for some 4 turkey burger patties. I let it heat up for about 10 min and then put the burgers on. 20 min later I still had no grill marks and the patties were just white and baked looking. I have owned 3 other Forman grills without the removable grates and buttons, they have all been amazing. I used them until the non stick surfaces wore out. This grill however is trash. They should just pull it off the shelves. 01/14/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Easy cleanup, SLOW warmup, SHORT pwr cord! PROs MODEL: GRP99BLK I've kept this grill only because it is so easy to clean up. The cooking surfaces are easy to snap off and wash. If they would fix the problems listed below I would rate this product a five star. CONS It takes 11 minutes to preheat to 425 degrees and even then does not brown the meat as it should. (My previous cheaper grill only required 5 minutes to preheat and always browned the meat.) The power cord is only 24 inches long! Not long enough for my kitchen. It needs a 16 inch vertical space when opening the lid, so measure your counter top clearance before buying this model. 01/30/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Great Foreman Product. I have been wanting a GF grill since I first used the variable temp. GF grill that I bought for my brother 4 years ago. After so many years of searching for the perfect grill, I finally found it on Oh how I just love this George Foreman grill! It is stylish with its digital temperature settings and matches the rest of my black kitchen appliances. The grilling surface is big enough to grill 6 patties at a time and the removeable grill plates makes cleanup a breeze. The description on says that the grill should come with two drip pans but mine only came with one. I took the grill back to a Kohls store and was able to get it exchanged for a different one that came with two drip pans. 11/13/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 Good product, Few Instructions, No recipes It does what we bought it for - low fat easy cooking. Nice design, good quality construction. Super easy to clean. The instructions are minimal - how to plug it in, how to clean, but that's it. Nothing on how to use the temperature control, which was supposed to be a big feature. And ZERO recipes. You'd think that when you buy a small appliance, they'd throw you a FEW, but nope. I broke down and bought a George Foreman cookbook, which has good recipes, but under "temperature control" it says, "Please refer to instruction manual"!!!!! The grill does have a big footprint, about 16" by 20", so if you don't have much counter space, storage might be a problem. Bottom line, good product, but whoever wrote the instruction manual deserves a good beating with one of the removable plates. If you buy it, you have to go to your old buddy Mr. Internet to figure out the features. 06/27/2013
