Bought this grill as a way to get great grilled food while living in an apartment. Was very disappointed! This grill does not sear the meat like a real grill does and you do not get that great, char grilled flavor. Chicken breasts, burger, hot dogs came out as if they were steamed or poached. May be an easy to clean, healthier way to cook but if want that real, grilled/seared flavor, this grill will not do it.

PROs MODEL: GRP99BLK I've kept this grill only because it is so easy to clean up. The cooking surfaces are easy to snap off and wash. If they would fix the problems listed below I would rate this product a five star. CONS It takes 11 minutes to preheat to 425 degrees and even then does not brown the meat as it should. (My previous cheaper grill only required 5 minutes to preheat and always browned the meat.) The power cord is only 24 inches long! Not long enough for my kitchen. It needs a 16 inch vertical space when opening the lid, so measure your counter top clearance before buying this model.

I have been wanting a GF grill since I first used the variable temp. GF grill that I bought for my brother 4 years ago. After so many years of searching for the perfect grill, I finally found it on Kohls.com. Oh how I just love this George Foreman grill! It is stylish with its digital temperature settings and matches the rest of my black kitchen appliances. The grilling surface is big enough to grill 6 patties at a time and the removeable grill plates makes cleanup a breeze. The description on Kohls.com says that the grill should come with two drip pans but mine only came with one. I took the grill back to a Kohls store and was able to get it exchanged for a different one that came with two drip pans.

This is our second George Foreman grill. We like this one better than our old one because this one is so much easier to clean, with the removable plates. The other one was such a pain to clean that it went into the trash one day. Overall, this model is good though it seems weird that the cooking chart in the manual tells recommended temperatures and cooking times for all sorts of meats and seafoods . . . except steak! We've tried cooking steak at the same temp as recommended for pork chops and it doesn't seem hot enough. The steaks tasted great but were just gray on the outside, which looks unappetizing. Will try again hotter next time. Other than that, it's handy, works well, and is VERY easy to clean.
