Rated 1 out of 5 by Is it just me or is Levi quality waning? Purchased 2 pairs of these jeans at a great price. Unfortunately, when they arrived I was very unhappy with the quality of the jeans. I have been purchasing these same jeans, in this same style, for years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. The look is the same but the material is so thin that the pants appear to be made from dress pant material. The stitching is also messy and uneven in spots along the hem. When holding these pants up to the light you can see the light through them. I will definitely be inspecting any Levis that I may purchase in the future. 12/05/2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ordered DIRT RUSH, Color nothing like the image I ordered this in DIRT RUSH. The actual color is very different from the product image. Going to exchange it for another color in store or return it. While the Levi's jeans is great (fabric, fit, style) the product image was totally misleading in terms of color! Disappointed! 12/05/2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by black jeans fade badly and stretch out Black jeans are supposed to stay black. I have some very old Lee and Levis jeans (505s) that are still very black after years of wear and washing. Not so for these 514s, which are now dark grey after just a few months. Even worse, they stretch out, especially in the seat. If you can wear them, I recommend the black 511s with 1% elastane (spandex), which hold their shape better. Be careful when ordering, though, since Levis sizing is wildly inconsistent from one style to another. This is one situation where it is advisable to go into the store to try them on, or to order multiple sizes with the expectation of returning all but one of them. 09/20/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by what happened to good cotton I have searched for a decent pair of slim jeans for my husband for the past 5 years, These were low cut and the fabric is stiff. They say they are slim but their still excess fabric in the thighs. I don't know why they think all men want all that fabric. Unless you buy skinny all pants for men have excess fabric. We have tried all brands and its pretty bad when I pay so much money for a pair of jeans and have to alter them, and on jeans that is not easy. Whatever happened to a good fit. So now I have wasted my money because I washed them beore he tried them on and hemmed them, thinking the fit would be ok considering his other pair fit. Can't hand them down as all my boys need 34 longs not 29. 11/25/2013
