 by HMNIA Overpriced, Overtiny
First, I did not receive what was pictured (see attached images). I received an entirely different looking design by OXO, which worked out well because I prefer the modern design of what I received; but it makes me hesitant to purchase online from Kohl's in the future. Secondly, this product is not little, it is tiny. Listed dimensions would have been helpful. I attached a photo next to a standard coffee mug to show size comparison. I'm a single person so it's not a big deal, but if you're ordering for a family I would recommend spending a few extra bucks and getting the larger size.
The quality (of the product/image I received) is great, as have other OXO things I have purchased, but I still think the price/value is a bit high which is why I ranked it average.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Cheap8kate Three Cup Capacity Perfect for Small Tasks
OXO's little salad spinner is perfect for small tasks, such as spinning moisture out of an individual portion of freshly washed salad greens, sliced mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes. The mechanism is set so that two or three pushes spins the inner basket at a medium speed and prevents it from spinning out of control. And that speed is sufficient. There's plenty of room for the excess water to drain down the external glass dish and accumulate at the bottom without making the veggies wet after spinning.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Informative Slightly too small
Read some reviews where mentioned this was too small, and it is if you are cooking for two, or are enjoying a big salad yourself. The plus side is you can spin the greens in two batches and you have a salad spinner easy to store in a smaller space. Bought to replace one I have had for years which allowed the water to flow directly out and into the sink. I'm sure I'll get used to the water accumulating in the outer container. Giving it four stars because I haven't been able to find anything on the marketplace that is better.

Not too big and not too small. Can put in almost a half a head of lettuce in the spinner and it takes off most of the water. I just lay the salad on a piece of paper towel for a bit then I store the lettuce in a plastic bag and put in refrigerator. Salad lasts for days.
Never knew there was such a thing as a salad spinner.
