Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great idea Very cool, combines my love of building things with guns. It's not meant for your extreme nerf battles just mostly for fun. Hope to see more products like this in the future, I mostly browse the toy sections for nostalgia as I am not overly into the new toys these days, but this was too neat to not spoil myself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy this for the pieces, not for the model. I've been building with K'Nex since 1997, and I still enjoy building with it even in my mid-20s. To this day, I have about 14-15,000 pieces, and it's not exactly about to get smaller. One thing that made me interested in the K-Force line was the introduction of black 4-slot and dark gray 5-slot connectors (usually green and yellow, respectively). I personally think they are great additions to the mix and hope they'll be available as individual parts in the online store soon. That having been said, when it comes to the Dual Cross model itself, my opinion is very different. The first thing I don't like is that the trigger is positioned way too far away from the launcher. In the smaller sets, the trigger is positioned only a couple inches away from the blaster, but it's a whole red rod away in the DC. Also, the trigger itself is a dark gray rod long (usually yellow), which feels incredibly awkward compared to the ones on the other blasters. Lastly, the model also feels a lot flimsier than the other blasters, what with the handles being positioned at the back. Overall, if you're just looking for a decent supply of the new black and dark gray connectors with one single set, the Dual Cross can definitely deliver, but if you want a quality blaster, buy something else instead.
