Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely worth the $ I always look at reviews before any purchases. The reviews were good on this flat iron. I've had an FHI one, and currently own a CHI (not impressed for the $). This flat iron goes right through hair without tugging. It is ultra slim and easy to use. The curls come out shiny and full. The only thing I don't like is that the power button is in a spot where I keep hitting it. Besides that, I highly recommend it. In fact, I am going to buy another one and donate this awful CHI iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very well!! Works so well that the iron is almost too hot to hold when using it on a higher setting! Be careful if this is a gift for a tween!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but expensive If you have natural hair, this is a great flat iron. I've had a ceramic flat iron for the longest time and I thought that was great but apparently titanium is where it's at. It has a heat setting of numbers instead of temperatures, which is not great if you want to know what the actually temperature is. That's not too big of a deal for me. Because it is a long flat iron it can be hard to maneuver at time (around the ears) but I've only used it twice and it wasn't a big hindrance. It may get easier as I use it more. I use the setting of 40-45 which is high but I notice no heat damage yet and I don't plan to use it that often. Be careful if your are prone to heat damage. It gets hot and you can't touch the top or bottom to clamp it down (which I am used to doing) because it is so hot. Also your hand has to be a bit further away when you clamp it down because of the heat. It still did a great job with out me pushing down on the top & bottom though, I think it's designed to do that. All in all it is expensive but it is an investment because my hair comes out so silky smooth and straight that someone asked if I relaxed my hair lol...no. It comes out bone straight with a shine to it that's beautiful.(Recommendation: please use small sections to get the best results) I don't like bone straight hair (but I noticed for the first time that this flat iron makes bone straight hair look good) so I fix that overnight with flexirods and it has beautiful wavy curl to it in the morning. My advice: weigh the pros & cons before you buy it!
