Rated 3 out of 5 by from looks nice, horrible to put together The worst chairs to put together. It took my husband over an hour to put together each chair (we bough 6). None of the holes in the back lined up, so he had to drill extra holes. Of the 6 chairs we bought, 4 came with damages on the legs. Once you actually get them put together, they look very nice. They are comfortable as well. Note, the "rice paper" color looks very light in the picture, but does not look like that in real life. It's more of an antique off white. Still nice, but picture does not portray the real color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Vanessa Dining Chair Nice but difficult to build I bought four of the Vanessa mustard color dining chairs. Color of this model is accurate to the picture. Delivery was very speedy. The look and upholstery is great. However, the chairs are a nightmare to assemble. It is not the parts, only 4, nor the hardware, it's the alignment of the holes to attach the back to the seat. They will not align unless you lean, tilt, press and swear as you put it together. I am very experienced in putting box furniture together but these chairs were a challenge. Price was great and they look perfect around an antique dining table but what I thought would be a 2 hour project turned into an entire Saturday afternoon. Not sure the savings in price is worth that much of my time. Take note of the assembly to allow your self enough time. Instructions are useless and the drawings horrible. Little help there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the look of these chairs! I've been looking for dining room chairs that would compliment the host/hostess chairs I already have. (Also from Kohl's!) Mostly it was about style/shape/size, and less about the fabric, as I plan to have the chairs reupholstered. That being said... the assembly was pretty much a nightmare, but only because the pre-drilled holes don't line up properly to insert the bolts. I found this problem on every single chair. I managed to put them all together, but had to give up on trying to force the bolts into place, because the legs crack very easily. I contacted the manufacturer and found out how to get replacement legs directly from them. When you sit down, you can actually feel the wood brace under your thighs and behind your knees. I'll have to add more foam padding to the seat during the reupholstery process. I don't regret the purchase, and will make them work, but if you're hoping for easy assembly or comfortable seating, these probably aren't the right choice for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the style I bought this as a desk chair for my family room and I like the way it looks. It's seat is low and the sutures in the back might look like it was put together in a hurry, but it serves its purpose.
