Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot, delicious coffee I purchased this as a rebellious move to all the k cuos...as people get their wasteful little plastic k cups, I'll move to unfiltered coffee to save the environment. Wow! We've had it for three years, and it's great. You know how drip makers make a good pot, but it's slowly reheated from the bottom burner? This is the hottest, tastiest coffee. Only drawback is having to grind your coffee for electric percolator at the store rather than purchase preground for drip. This coarser grind stops the coffee granules from sneaking out of the perc basket. Love this and have coverted many.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product overall Delivers a hot cup of coffee, unlike Mr. Coffee and the like. My one complaint is that the lid can be hard to remove and the cord can be hard to fully push into the pot. I bought this for my mother, who is 89, and those 2 things are sometimes a challenge for her and for me as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ELECTRIC COFFEE POT Purchased the 12-cup Hamilton Beach Percolator about 3 weeks ago. My electric pot died. Did some research and found this very favorable not only in quality but price as well. So far I have not issues, the coffee is great stays hot - tastes good. It is pretty fast to brew as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, coffee is ready fast! After having yet another regular coffee maker break within a year, i decided to invest a little more and get a percolator. This one is very sturdy. I like that it's not plastic, and I don't have to buy filters anymore. Coffee is ready in a jiffy, less than 10 minutes to make about 8 cups, and it stays nice and hot, certainly hotter than with a conventional coffee maker. I think it brings out the flavor of the coffee better, too. The only drawback is not having an easy way of seeing how much coffee is left in it.
