Rated 1 out of 5 by from Excellent boot but the sole is no good. I bought a pair of Georgia Boots G8519 when I was in the USA approximately 2 years ago. I bought them because I was impressed with the style, quality of the leather and the workmanship. I have kept these boots for "best" I haven't worn them for 12 months. I put them on yesterday and found that the sole had disintegrated Cracked and chunks falling off. I appreciate the fact that the warranty has expired but thought you would be interested as I have no doubt there are more with the same problem. I will send you photos if you can give me an email address to send them to. Regards Mick

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great features I bought this boot about a month ago. It runs about a half size bigger than your actual shoe size . IE , I am an 8-1/2 D but bought an 8M and fits nicely. It is very comfortable yet its sole is flexible while offering strong support for long hours of wearing. The leather seems to be tough and does not scuff easily. The real test will be how long they will last. I have not really tested it as far as being waterproof while standing in a puddle or creek but any rain / snow on them has not penetrated the leather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable boot I've ever worn I've been buying these boots for several years. However, these had a glob of adhesive inside that is used to attach the insole. I had to use pliers to remove it. I'm still going to buy them again next time. They wear well and last a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable I have bought these boots three times in the past three or four years. Overall, the boots are extremely comfortable from the beginning to the end. My first pair of boots dried out. Causing the leather to rip by the pinky tow (left foot). To be fair concrete did them in, I regularly cleaned and oiled them with mink oil but there were some days I did not clean them when they seem to need it most…long days. My second pair the sole fell apart (right foot). Though they did save my feet from being burnt a few times when I accidently stepped on a bit of hot mettle. I’ve had these ones for about a year. Recently I was kick starting my bike when I realized that the kick starter was taring at the sole like it was a sponge. Aside from the sole, the rest of the boot was still good. Now I am on my third pair. I put these boots through a lot of hard work and play they usually last me about a year maybe a little more but that is it. I have worn these boots almost everyday since I first started buying them three or four years ago. I way rufly 200 lbs. and stand at about 5’-10” and the size 9 W fit me well. Over all they are a very comfortable boot. The durability could be a little better but if you don’t mind spending the money every year and a half or so to keep your feet comfortable then they’re a good boot.
