Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work right out of the box. We just opened this after being a reward for using the potty. The pen keeps giving an incorrect sound/phrase no matter which dot you touch. Not a good sign for this company's products as this is the first we have purchased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from educational and fun my son enjoys using this, he cannot read so its a good thing we can do together. He loves that the pen lights up and makes sounds. A great early learning product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and Interactive Way to Learn Math My daughter just started Kindergarten this year so I wanted to make sure I got her some fun learning tools other than boring workbooks. I find kids love to learn with interactive things but I do not always like her on electronics. I prefer more hands on and that is exactly why I love the Hot Dots Jr. Let's Master Pre-K Math set. This set features a fun and interactive blue dog pen which requires two AAA batteries not included. To engage, children have to touch the pen to the dot to select the correct answer. There are TONS of lessons, included in the two books which has been keeping my five year old VERY busy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I did it! We sit down every night with one of the books that comes in this series with the intention of doing only a few pages, but always end up doing the entire book. I use it as a supplement for homeschooling my daughter and she thoroughly enjoys it. I love seeing her face light up when she gets a question correct and even when she misses she is determined to sit and think about what the answer could be. I also like the fact that there is sequencing and shapes not just numbers. The only thing I would suggest is possibly suggest is to have a Dog wand for the math set and Cat for the reading set so you don't have two of the same wand like we do.
