A pair of well-made dress pants for younger girls. They are perfect for school concerts and stylish for wearing with nice tops. We bought a size 12, but my 12-year-old is quite slender and it was very loose around the waist. But because they were such a nice pair of pants, we took her to the tailor to have the pants tailored for her. They turned out beautifully and she just LOVES these pants. The size 10 that we bought was small for her, but they fit our neighbor's daughter perfectly and she loves her pants as well. So it all worked out. I will probably buy the bigger sizes, too, for when she gets older. And if we have to, we'll get them tailored.

Don't know about the quality or value because my daughter had them on for 5 seconds. I bought these pants in a size 7 for my 9-1/2 yr old daughter (about 51 inches tall and 50 lbs.) She's very slim and small for her age, and generally wears a size 8 slim in pants (just growing out of a 7 Slim). I bought a size 7 because there was no slim size and was hoping the 7 would fit her with a belt. Boy was I Wrong! These pants were huge on her! Around the waist there was a least 1 to 2 inches of space; however, what really surprised me is that they were also about an inch too long on her. Returning them - if they would have fit, may have been very nice pants.
Rated 2 out of 5Â by SRJackson nice pants but run very small
These are a nice quality materials but they run very small through the hips. My daughter wears a size 14. I can usually order that size and it fits perfectly but she couldn't even begin to zip these up.

Problem: pants for the office. At 5', less than 100 pounds, I can't find pants that fit and look professional. Noirmally, I buy a 12s in girls jeans, cords etc. for non business wear. The 10 in these fit perfectly. They wear beautifully, don't wrinkle and amazingly they wash! The only alteraton needed was to let the hem down the maximum possible (no tell tale mark) to wear with 3" heels. The price made these an unbelievable win!
