I have arrived at the conclusion that one can only operate WeMo switches and the like installed on one network, from any one given device. I can, for example, employ the app on my iPhone to control a switch on a network at our lake place, but the app cannot handle the control of a switch on a network in our home - it cannot even see that it exists. So, if you have WeMo switches and things on three different networks, you'd better have the WeMo app installed on three different devices. This seems like something their programmers should be working-on, because we don't all just stay in one place all of the time...

Was so looking forward to using this product, I bought two. Instructions were easy to understood... but the WeMo switch didn't work. Keep telling me it couldn't connect to my internet. Followed the helpful video hints to get to work, but couldn't get it to work for me. Didn't even open the 2nd box, can't be bothered. Sending them back.

I have 2 of the plug in WeMo switches and 2 wall switches. Installation went fine and all four of these are set up to run on a schedule and run fine. My complaint is the app. I have the app on my iPad and my Android phone, at any given time not all the switches can be found by the app. To make it worse different switches will be found on the iPad and Android at the same moment in time.

Not dependable. Fine if you need a hobby. Needs reinstallation frequently. App and product UI are awful. Inscrutable UI designed by engineers.
