Rated 5 out of 5 by from you've got to try this! I hadn't investigated these, but the idea of staying cool all night was worth any risk. Could a mattress pad really help? A: YES!!! I got it mid-summer, and rarely use AC, so it really got the test. One month later, I have yet to wake up (or stay that way) because it's too hot. Not sure how that technology works--especially when you have two 'heating units' sleeping on the same mattress, but it was a great investment (at 30% off, of course ;) ).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work We tried this for a month. Both with using AC (set at 70 degrees) and with windows open on a cooler summer night. We both woke up in a night sweat, or were too hot to even fall asleep. As soon as you lay down, it seems cool, but the effect goes away after ten minutes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rather Disappointed The portion that lies on top of the mattress is nice. The problem I have is with the 'pockets' and sides. The material has ripped from the mattress cover portion. The material is a thin stretchy material that did not hold up well at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stayed Cool I really like this mattress pad, it is nice to get in bed and you lie down on cool sheets. I was afraid this fall I would have to take if off it's cool when you get in but this morning when I woke up I was nice and warm and it doesn't take long when you get in bed that your body adjust and I'm usually nice and cozy even before I go to sleep which doesn't take me long!
