Rated 4 out of 5 by Great handheld for a great price! The Shark Pet Power - Vac is everything it claims to be. I was most satisfied with how easy it is to dispose the hair and crumbs (crumbs that were much larger that I expected it would have the oomph to accomplish). The filter is just rinsed out, set out to dry, and that's it. The filters last 3mos according to manufacturer. The upholstery attachment is the best I've seen on a handheld yet when it comes to cat hair on area rugs, couches, etc. The crevice attachment is handy too. The charge lasts for several smaller jobs around the house. 10/14/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by ok I thought I'd be able to put this hand vac up to replace my Dustbuster but you cannot wall mount it and it can't be plugged (charging) at all times. It does work well but a little annoying that you have to wait for it to die on you before you recharge it and you can't have it maounted up neatly. Will keep it. Works real well on the furniture but will stick to my old Dustbuster for dust, fur, dirt ect. on floor. 08/11/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth it.. I had high hopes for this vac but as others have stated the battery life is ridiculous. You have to let it charge for like 12 hours in order to use it for a few minutes. It won't even last long enough for me to vacuum my stairs. It powers out about 2/3 down the stairs. As for picking up, it does a fair job on SOME things... other things it just skips over or blows around. I got it for cleaning the furniture of pet hair and cleaning pet hair and pieces of litter off my stairs. It got about 50% of the debris. I am definitely going to have to buy another type/brand as this is just not doing it for me. 08/08/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Attachments are amazing! We bought this item because we have a husky so its safe for you to assume we have a lot of dog hair wandering around our home. She usually only sits on one chair in our living room and it was just full of dog hair. Our vacuum attachments didn't work that well so I found myself constantly using lint rollers to get her hair off. As you can imagine that was very time consuming and expensive. We purchased this item about a month ago and I use it at least 4 times a week. The pet attachment on this item took her hair off immediately in less than half the time it took our vacuums pet attachment to work. We also use it along the baseboards of our kitchen since it is tiled I don't care to take a vacuum to it but the tiny attachment on this item works perfect for in between mopping/sweeping. The only fault i can say about this item is it doesn't hold a very long charge but for the price I don't mind plugging it in after each time I use it. 10/09/2011
