Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again Needless to say I really enjoyed this watch initially. However, after 3 days of owning it...it fell off my wrist and is officially gone for good. Downfalls include: Cheap band, no calorie tracker, actual calories burned is not correct, and poor quality overall. My greatest regret was not going with a fit bit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from strap broke in 2 days. I like the app and the disc but the strap is very cheap plastic an broke in 2 days. How can you swim, run, walk with something you could lose any second because of the cheap plastic strap?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value for new or light exercising After buying this at a different store for much cheaper, I've been very happy with it. Only recently have I really started to get myself into the gym and it's been tough to get the motivation to go. This inexpensive option is amazing and works for me. Not only do I need something simple but I do a LOT of swimming and this is WATERPROOF! You need a mobile device and the app is very simple and easy to use. It has a small chart with "activitiy remaining that tells you what you can do to meat your goal: # min of Walking, Running, Swimming. You can see a graph or a circle with your progress. The circle mimics the light up display on the device, which while ok for seeing your progress it's a little lacking when it comes to telling the time. After awhile I've gotten used to it but it only tracks in 15 min increments so it's hard to tell if it's 3:18 since it only displays 3:30 or 3:15. One thing it does do, if you have the app open (or in the background) on your phone is have a double and triple tap functions. Combined with "FTTT" it has some rather good flexibility. Using the two apps I've made it so a double tap makes a FB post letting people know I'm at the gym and out of touch and a triple tap makes my phone ding so i can find it! Another awesome thing is that the App links to others like MyFitnessPal. It sends your step tracking to MFP and MFP sends things like food logs to the Misfit app. The sleep tracking is great! It seems to know when I go to sleep even if I'm laying in bed watching Netflix for a couple hours. Not only does it track time but also can tell when you are awake, light sleep, or deep sleep. It's been very useful for days I wake up and still feel tired. One thing I REALLY like is that you can wear it on multiple spots on your body. It comes with the wrist strap (Sadly too short to also use around the ankle), and a clasp to wear on clothing/shoes. When you choose what workout you are going to do it will give you suggestions on which place to wear it: cycling = ankle, swimming = wrist, etc. The wrist strap is a bit odd in that it's not like a regular watch. It IS a lot easier to do it one handed, thankfully. So far I've not had a single issue with it and it's only come off once and that was during a very fitful night of sleep. The size is the same as a standard watch, so some might think it a bit big. I like it that way since I'm used to wearing a watch and it doesn't feel odd on my wrist. The colors are nice too and go well with the standard bright colors that most workout clothing comes in. It also has a "Activity" mode when you hold it down. You can chose from different activities: soccer, swimming, basketball, cycling, tennis. I really thing this a very limited and don't include things like cardio machines, though lack of a heart rate monitor sort of makes that hard to do. At least I can use the MFP app to log actives manually, but it does throw my 'progress' off. Twenty minutes of an elliptical machine should more than fill up my small daily goal. It DOES have a manual add, but it still has limited options: basketball, tennis, swimming, soccer, cycling, running, walking, yoga, dancing. My hope is that Misfit will be adding more activities as time goes on. Overall I love my Misfit Flash and recommend it to anyone who is new to fitness tracking. It's inexpensive and easy to use.
