Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautyrest does it again. Bought this blanket to replace another Beautyrest electric blanket which was overdue for a trade-in. I ordered brown, and it is a dark brown reminiscent to the look and feel of mink. It is ultra soft, lightweight and luxurious. I wanted to reduce concerns about EMF's and this blanket is supposed to virtually eliminate emissions. I had cancer last year and am now trying to be proactive about issues like that. Would give it five stars, but it could use about another foot of length in the cord to the simple, easy to use controller which almost makes it to the back of the nightstand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2 huge problems with this blanket I have 2 negative comments and both have been mentioned before. The cords are about a foot short of being good - they just are not long enough to get to the night stand and not have them fall off. My plug in the wall is slightly off center so one side is worse than the other but both just barely sit on the stand. My other complaint is the strip down the middle of the bed (several inches wide) that has no wire so no heat is there. Just about get nice and toasty and then my legs hit that area and I'm instantly awake again. I do like the material it is made of because it holds it's shape much better than my old blanket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Electric Blanket Ever This is one comfy blanket. We love it. It's so soft, the material drapes around and moves with you through out the night. You hardly need the heat but with 20 settings you're sure to be neither to hot nor cold. The pre-warm feature is toasty but not hot. The camel color is beautiful. The cord length worked fine for us on a standard length bed flanked by traditional night tables. It does creep down a little and because of the weight you have to move it up from the bottom before smoothing the top when making the bed. Also not for houses with cats that claw blankets or dogs that rough them up or small children that jump on the bed because of the wires.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is very soft with many settings I had a twin electric blanket on my side of a king size bed that recently quit working. It was the perfect blanket, soft, you couldn't feel the coils, the cord was long enough to put the controller on my night stand. It stopped working so I had to purchase another one. I purchased several & returned them before I bought this one. It's the closest to my old one. I didn't give it a 5 star for a few reasons. It is softer than my old one, has a lot more settings as well as a pre-warmer setting. The cord however is too short so I have to set the controller on the floor and is a pain if I want to change settings during the night. I can ever so slightly feel the coils in the blanket when I run my feet back and forth but as I said it's better than any of the other blankets I purchased and returned.
