Rated 3 out of 5Â by Ampete I was impressed with this Blazer...
...until I realized how cheap it looked. The buttons don't look anything like brass and the 70% Wool / 30% Poly. fabric is thin and feels too smooth to be higher quality.
I must say, though, I love everything else about this blazer: surprisingly great fit, comfortable, light weight for summer wear, great inside pocket arrangement and overall appears to be quite well-made. Further, it arrived in an amazing heavy-duty shipping carton--like a little closet with the blazer hanging on a hanger so there was not a single wrinkle. Price was right too. Great value if you are on a strict budget, you really cannot go wrong, but you will have to change out those cheapo buttons.

The Chaps black blazer is a comfortable blazer that looks good. But if you purchase one, be sure to make certain the buttons are sewn on tightly. I wore mine only a few times and lost a button. I have looked everywhere to find a replacement Chaps button. Good luck on trying to find one! So I have a two-button blazer with only one button that I can't wear unless I replace every single button with non-Chaps blazer buttons. Frankly I would have expected higher quality merchandise from a company like Chaps. You would not expect to lose a button after wearing it only a few times.

This is a really nice jacket but the top front button came off on the first wear. The button was lost and there are no replacement buttons inside the jacket. So after the first time worn it is now unusable as a suit jacket. There is another review with the exact same complaint.

Great value for this high quality product! I did have 2 order this twice to get the right size, but it was easy to return and exchange. Such a handsome gift for my adult son.
