I bought this to replace my 30+-year-old old pan that was bent and distorted due to an accident.
I've made one cake in the new pan. The batter leaked between the removable insert and the pan, just enough to cause them to stick together when it came time to remove the cake. I had to pound on the bottom of the insert to get it to release, and both it and the "feet" bent out of shape. All my other NordicWare pans are very sturdy, but this one is not.
The final price I paid for this pan was good, but even at that, it was a waste of money because I had to buy yet another new one. I recommend that you look at other brands before considering this one.

Sorry -the finish on pan is dull. It feels "raw" rather than
finished. I baked three cakes but removing them gave me pause because the blade of the knife couldn't slide easily on the metal. I'm going to find my old angel cake pan and use it instead.
One good thing:you can invert pan on itself without using a bottle to support it.

I bought this pan as my son is a huge angel food cake fan and I did not want to ruin my good bundt pan. Nice heavy construction, sealed well and cleaned up nicely after baking. I would recommend this pan (and the box DH brand mix) if you or someone you know loves angel food cake.
