Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for young kids My son is 15months and this toy is not really designed well for kids with small hands and fingers. The toy has some potential if you didn't have to push the toys so deep into the Dino's mouth. Also I find it really stupid that toy always asks to insert 8 pieces. 5 should be the max simply because there isn't that many pieces to start with and you have to keep emptying the toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 15 months old daughter loves Dino I actually wanted to buy this toy for my little daughter for a while but could not fit to my budget this month. Luckily she got a plush toy as a gift from a friend of mine and the first thing I did was go and change that plush to to this Dino and I don't regret my decision at all. My daughter loves Dino and she plays with it for hours and she wants to drag Dino with her everywhere at home. It really helps her build her vocabulary since we are not native English speakers. She learns fast how to feed Dino even though it was a bit difficult for her in the beginning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and education toy for kids! We were provided with a sample of Chomp & Count Dino by VTech. My daughter snatches “little Dino” up to herself often to feed and love on. She takes him for walks and makes sure his tummy is always full. Whenever my son can find a turn, he enjoys practicing his motor skills by fitting the food inside, and running as fast as possible without flipping the Dino over. I am all about multi tasking and really enjoy the way the kids are able to use their imagination of play while at the same time learn some new colors, numbers, and shapes (all things we are working on with my little guy).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for Fine Motor Skills and Learning We were provided this toy for review. My son really likes the Chomp & Count Dino. I had to show him how to put the “food” in the dino’s mouth but once we did it a few times, he quickly figure it out. The "food" pieces are a little difficult for his little hands to push up but he will turn the toy upside down and shove them all the way in. Once he feeds the dino, heimmediately opens the door to see if they are in there. Great for teaching object permanence. He also loves to pull the dino around on the string. Dino plays all sorts of fun sounds and songs and will guide the child towards particular colors and pictures.
