We have an electric (flat ceramic) stovetop with a "bridge" heater that connects two burners. We wanted a griddle large enough to span the whole bridge, but only found square ones until I finally spotted this model. It is a great size -- you can make 8 pancakes at a time. It is easy to clean and has a sturdy structure. I love it.

We have an electric cooktop. Was looking for a heavy and sturdy griddle. This one too gets wobbly and won't stand still when it gets hot. Also looks like the nonstick surface won't last long

This is an inexpensive griddle which is exactly what I wanted to start with. Since I did not know how well I would like a griddle or how much I would use it I went with a less expensive one. It is great and I use it quite often.
The griddle is not very heavy and responds quickly to heat adjustments. It has not warped or scratched: note I always use nylon/silicon utensils and allow it to cool down before washing.
The main thing to remember is this is a griddle spanning 2 elements on a cooktop. The dead space between the elements is not going to heat the same as the spaces located directly above the elements. IMHO the griddle heats just fine and the entire cooking surface is usable with the middle being slightly lower in temperature.
So far I have used it many times to cook bacon, pancakes, french toast and burgers. It has done better than I expected considering its price in relation to some higher end griddles.
The only reason its getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because after an extended use the handles get hot enough to burn you.
I would recommend this griddle to anyone who wants to try one and is willing to accept the hot handle issue.

Have always liked T-Fal products but not this time. Griddle warped (terribly) after one use. Returning for sure!
