Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pot; heavy, yet easy to handle. Love it! Had many Calphalon pans in the past and this one is the best! 01/24/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by You Had Me at "Dishwasher-Safe" Let me start by saying I'm not a great cook, or even a good cook. When I was single and childless I lived on takeout, but now that I have a family, I'm trying to cook healthy meals most days of the week. Cookware like this makes this a lot easier. I have made several vegetarian soups in it and they all came out great. The pot heats evenly and I love that it is dishwasher safe. (I was very surprised by this but sure enough, it came out looking good as new.) This pot is heavy, sturdy and the clear top makes it easy to see what's going on inside. I know it will last me a very long time. Highly recommended! 04/30/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by I like soup I like soup. My mom likes soup. My bubbi liked soup. We're a soup liking family. Soup is very important to me - matzah ball to mushroom barley to, um, well back to matzah ball - and it's part of a winter ritual of making a big pot and letting it cook all day.  I tried it once in a crock pot. Crock pots are a crock.  So back to the 4 Quart soup pot. It was just about the right size for my mushroom beef barley, and the lid was perfect for keeping the soup in, placing it in the fridge, skimming off the fat, and then reheating all in the same pot.  You gotta do that or it gets too fatty and gross.  Love it, already brought it out for the pending fall weather. Can't wait to make soup. :) 10/01/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Non-Stick Pot I made a quinoa salad last week and cooked the quinoa in the soup pot. I was very impressed with how evenly the pot heated up. I cooked the quinoa on a burner that was too hot and the quinoa stuck to the bottom and sides. The clean up was a breeze though! I will use a lower heat setting next time I use the pot. I have a gas stove and my only complaint about this product is that the handles on the sides and lid get very hot. Not only do I need to be careful, I need to watch my DS who loves to help me cook so we don't get burned. Otherwise I love the pot and look forward to trying out more recipes! 04/20/2010
