This is such a nice set of pans! They are a breeze to clean, nothing sticks and they just wipe out. I did have a small chink on the rim of the saucepan but didn't want to send it back "sounded complicated and time consuming." They are a very pretty set too. Highly recommend these pans.

I bought this set recently and could not be more pleased! Absolutely nothing sticks (believe me, I know something about that) and cleanup is a breeze...I haven't put it in the dishwasher because it is so easy to wash by hand, but like the fact that I can. I have since bought a 1-qt. saucepan and plan on adding to my collection. They are sturdy without being too heavy and the glass lids are very nice. No more lifting the lid to check. Ialso liked that I could send my old cookware back for recycling.

I was expecting high quality cookware due to the Calphalon name and the cost. I did a lot of research, and saved up to buy this set, and was very excited to add them to my kitchen. I've been very disappointed with the quality. They perform fine, although the "Sear" surface doesn't do an especially good job of browning. The nonstick coating is no better than some cheap brand you'd buy at K-Mart, however. I am very aware of how to properly care for this cookware. I did not expect to use an immersion blender to blend soup, (blade does not come in contact with the pan surface) and end up with horrible scratches on the bottom of the pan. This was soup, not rocks. Needless to say, can't use an immersion blender with this cookware anymore. Also, the paint/surface is already wearing off the bottom of one pan, and the nonstick is also peeling off the top edges. I would never buy Calphalon nonstick products again.

I purchased Calphalon Unison because I thought Calphalon was the best cookware around. Was I wrong. I purchased the Unison because it was rated diswasher safe. I was very careful with my new cookware... I had paid ALOT of money for it and wanted to treat it well so it would last a long, long time. I had the cookware about two weeks when I noticed the exterior of the pots that I used the most was wearing off and the pots now have no finish left on them. The interior, the non-stick part is fine... but the exterior of the pots look like I picked them up, used, at a garage sale or something. I will never purchase Calphalon again. For the most part I wash them by hand because I use them more often than I run the diswasher, but I occasionally put them into the diswasher... maybe once or twice before the finish wore right off. I can't articulate how disappointed I am in this cookware.
