Rated 5 out of 5Â by firuza8 not guilty pleasure
i am a mild person with a bit conservative choices when it comes down to beauty products.. "less is more" - i say.. but once in a while i die my hair red, i put a shiny lip gloss, or i wear sassy earrings.. when I'm feeling frisky, 'vices versa' is my not guilty pleasure :) the color is viviv, i only need two coats, and it doesn't chip for 3-4 days which is good for a nail polish (i cook and clean a lot)... this is a good neon color - i always get compliments from coworkers, and my 7months old daughter who loves green color (which is why i picked it in the 1st place) loves playing with my hands and tries to bite my fingers.. love it! it is a solid 10!!

I'm an avid user of Essie Polish and products. I've never had an issue with the polish chipping until I purchased the color "Haute as Hello". Most of my polish applications with other Essie polishes will last as long as 7 days without chipping, Haute as Hello chips within 2 days of application! At first I thought it was a fluke so tried it out again, and same result.. chips within 2 days. I'm really disappointed as I love this color. Not sure why this is happening. Just thought I would share my experience with you as this is a first.

I was so excited to try this color. I am a loyal Essie wearer and am addicted to the color periwinkle. Chills & Thrills is like periwinkle gone neon! However, the very first time I used it (the day after I got it), it was extremely clumpy and didn't go on smoothly at all. I've never had this problem with Essie polish before. The only reason I rated two stars instead of one is because the color is just so wonderful. It will at least look pretty sitting on the shelf.

Got this a couple weeks ago specifically to try out a new look with other Essie colors, and it's lovely! I could wish that it were more opaque and dried a bit faster, but that doesn't detract from the pretty. I think it dries as more of a solid green than a lime, but that's a bonus for me. I recommend two coats over a white to really make it pop. (In the pic, counterclockwise from thumb: Set in Stones, I'm Addicted, Vices Versa.)
