Rated 1 out of 5 by from very disappointed! I ended up returning this. The buttons on the front were , very hard to push. I also didn't like that alot of the shredded food piled up in the cover by the shoot. When you remove the work dish, alot of shredded food fell down in the center & there was no easy way to get it out. I liked the fact that you could reverse the shredding disk to fine or coarse and also that you could adjust the thickness of the slicing disk. Does not compare to my Robot Coupe that I had for over 30 years [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Food Processor I ever had This food processor grinds things up better than any other processor I have ever owned or used. I use it to make very creamy hummus, grind up nuts, and crackers for pie crust. I use the slicer for zucchini and have grated cheese with the grater wheel. I love this machine. The buttons "low, high, pulse" are a little hard to push, but that would be great for a household with small children. I wash the blades and bowl on the top rack of my dishwasher. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Product As with all KitchenAid appliances, the 7-cup food processor with ExactaSlice system is powerful, well-constructed and easy to use. My only minor criticism is the aesthetics. Although the buttons are large and easy to read I think the plain design of the buttons detracts from the overall look of this machine. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid! My 15 yr. old food processor was sent to camp - in case there was ever a need. It had 2 blades and 3 features: on ... off ... pulse My new KitchenAid is quite a change. Because of the features, I'll just say it does "tricks" that could previously not be done! I'm still 'learning' - but the process of shredding brussel sprouts just got a lot easier with my power options. We make a lot of different soups which means all different types and cuts of veggies. It's nice to know that I can use this machine for everything from mince to small and large dice! Haven't tried pie dough yet. Nor have I used the precision slicing features. Overall, it's a solid machine!
