Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the best I was looking for a reasonably priced DVD Player with a USB port and read the reviews of many but decided to get the BP340 as it not only had the USB Port but also had wifi built in and was a blue ray player too. I set it up in no time at all, just needed to connect it to my TV with a HDMI cable and plug in, now I have a much better picture, can look at family photos and vids with my flash drive, my son can even connect his phone up to it. This is truly a great product at such a reasonable price, plus you can even connect to youtube. I am so pleased I bought it and all my family are too. 01/06/2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by A bad reflection on the former Phillips brand. I chose LG due to the company history, being formerly Phillips...with a reputation for top notch products. It seems modern electronics is built to die very quickly. My player was manufactured July 2014, purchased around Christmas same year. It died Tuesday 18th this year. Calender age 13 months. Approx total actual use? <6 weeks tops. No signal getting through to TV. In the process of being called in for repair under manufacturers warranty. A very poor reflection on the once proud, mighty Phillips electronics company, pioneers of digital disc formats from Laser discs to CDs and DVDs. I have an ancient Philips valve radio in a Bakelite case that still works. A shame it doesn't play Blu-Rays. I'm an Engineer by background, get your QA and testing house in order please boys. You've asked for a review, I'm telling it like it is based on my experience as an end user. 08/22/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by very bland. I`m very disappointed . my own fault I should have done some simple research. I have an LG phone, LG 50 inch TV, had a basic LG bluray player and was a happy till i saw this one. I saw the words 3D, SMART and WI FI. Then I got it home and wham bam no thank you mamm... I can link it up with my computer, great but can I get BBC IPlayer on it ? NO I CAN`T and I`m NOT HAPPY ANY MORE... Just you tube ! I mean SMART, WI FI..... YOUTUBE ???? Don`t waste your money 12/04/2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Blu ray, Poor smart functions Initial set up was very easy and connection to the wifi was hassle free. Once the software update was checked I was keen to try the smart tv functions but massively disappointed to discover that only YouTube is an option! I have been unable to connect my smart phone by wifi or by cable connection and feel I'd have been much better off buying a cheap and cheerful instead of wasting my money on this! Great for Blu Rays but pointless for online services! 02/20/2015
