Well folks lets start with the good. First my wife gave this to me as a gift. She does not cook at all. The length of the power cord is excellent. It reaches where I use it in the kitchen. Plus this was easy to clean. The BAD. This was listed as being blue.WRONG. It was teal in color. I have perfect color vision per my doctor and the TSA. Not blue see pic. I think there should have more power setting. There is only 5. Included was only 2 pieces mixing utensils. Though they did the job for a box cake. I would think other beaters with different designed should have been in included. Especially for the price. I have seen lessor costing mixers with more tools for a cheaper price. My last hand mixer cost me 10 bucks & lasted 15 years.(made in china)

 by Gina58 Best Hand Mixer
I brought this hand mixer to replace my old one. After renovating my kitchen last year. It is powerful yet easy to handle at any speed. The swivel cord is a nice feature. I absolutely love it

by energyguy beware of plastic pieces
This mixer had been quite good until yesterday when my wife was making cookies for our son's birthday and noticed a small chip of plastic in one of the cookies. We examined the mixer and noticed that plastic piece into which the mixers insert had chipped off. Fortunately, we think we found all the pieces but it was startling to say the least. We have a Kitchenaid dishwasher and refrigerator so this isn't an indictment of the brand, just our mixer.

I previously owned a Cuisinart 7 speed hand mixer and after 15+ years it finally stopped working, which made me very sad. I loved this hand mixer and thought I would try a KitchenAid since it is well known product for their mixers in general, and I loved the lemongrass green color. I used it once and was highly disappointed due to the quality of the product, which was cheaply made and the speed of the beaters which being a 5 was comparable to the 3rd speed on my beloved Cuisinart..... Guess I will be looking more for a hand mixer that will fill the qualities that I had with my last hand mixer.
