Thinking that this product would save me time & money was a bad call on my part. The overall idea is a good one...use your own ground coffee and skip the "make a pot" every morning when you only ever drink a cup! However, I have tried several different grinds and can not get a good strong cup of coffee not matter what roast or grind type I use. Water spills out over the top of the unit and the coffee never gets "infiltrated" properly. I tried using less coffee in the unit and that just makes a really bland watery cup of coffee. So, for now, I am relegated to spending an arm & leg on K-cups until Keurig perfects this gadget!

I was having the same problem described by many. Water overflowing, coffee grounds, and weak taste. I called Keurig and they gave me a simple fix. Look up by the needle that pierces a normal k-cup. There is a small rubber gasket around the needle. Simply give it a wiggle and pull it down a little bit (be very careful, the needle is very sharp). Since that I have been enjoying my delicious 100% extra fancy Kona coffee that I brought back from Kona, Hawai'i. The taste couldn't be better. Now, I am very satisfied with this product. My only criticism is that I wish it could hold a bit more coffee.

We use our "My-Kcup" everyday! We drink a lot of coffee, so this product makes the Keurig more realistic since the specialty cups could get expensive for every cup of coffee. We always thought a Keurig would be pointless for us, until we found this! It is kind of annoying to clean it out everytime, but you are getting a fresh cup to your desired strength. We are actually saving on coffee from not wasting what was left undrank and burnt in our regular coffee pot. Other reviews have mentioned it is leaky. The only time we've had a leak is when the cap wasn't tightened. You have to twist! Enjoy!

I LOVE my Keurig and am so discouraged with the K-Cup! I have stopped using the MY K-Cup due to it leaking everywhere and spilling coffee grounds into the cup and/or onto the counter. I have read all of the suggestions about the rubber bands or adjusting the rubber stopper on the needle. I will try this and hope that it works. I have tried adjusting the amount of grounds put into the filter, and this has not worked. After the MY K-Cup is used, I need to run a couple of empty cups to just get rid of the grounds stuck inside the Keurig. :( But again, I DO LOVE the system, just not the My K-Cup!
