BECAUSE I LOVE THE YOGURT, I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE TO MAKE A DOUBLE BATCH. I USE KIFIR CHEESE AND PROBIOTIC MILK. I TIME IT FOR 12 HOURS THEN I STRAIN IT UNTIL IT IS THE RIGHT CONSISTENCY THEN I ADD PURE MAPLE SYRUP FOR A LITTLE SWEETNESS. I LOVE, LOVE IT. I ADD FRUIT IF I WANT.

I love it, I read the instructions leaflets that came with it just once & I misplaced it and couldn't find it. Still I have no problem using this product at all. All the times I'd use it, it gave us very creamy delicious yogurt we all love it.

After tasting homemade yogurt on a recent trip to France, we wanted to try it ourselves. I purchased this model after reading the reviews and am very pleased. It is easy to make and great that I can choose the type of milk I want and if, or how much, sweetener I want to add. We have made two batches already, the first with 1% milk and used an organic store-bought yogurt as the starter and it came out with great flavor and consistency. The first batch we did not add any flavor or sweetener to, and can add jam or fresh fruit when we eat it. The second batch, I added fresh fruit and a little honey when I made it, and used one of the yogurts from the first batch as the starter. It was also good. My only complaint is mine did not come with a direction book, but I was able to download one from the website and printed it. The downloaded directions specify heating the milk and adding a starter (and include options and timing depending upon the type of milk you use). The four simple steps on the outside of the box do not include this, so if anyone just uses those directions, I'm sure their results would be quite different. I look forward to experimenting with different milk and other flavors!

I've made a few batches and 1 turned out good. You have to use a cup of store bought yogurt in each batch or a yogurt mix. It's kind of a long process and coconut milk doesn't work.
