My husband wanted a grey pair of jeans so first we ordered the regular 50t's that he usually buys but the grey ones came with permanent creases across the front which he didn't like; so we ordered these shrink-to-fit 501's in grey. What a disaster! We ordered them larger like they said - when he tried them on before washing they were too long and too big in the waist and were supposed to shrink to the right size. Well, not only did they shrink too much so that he couldn't even get them on - too tight and too short - they came out so permanently wrinkled it was ridiculous! A disaster . . . we returned them!

Have worn 501s for decades and these are a disappointment, as they have been changed for the cheaper. The fabric is 1/2 the weight of the originals. Levis have gone from the best to sadly average. I currently have 30+ pairs and these do not compare favorably. At the current fabric weight, they will not last. Be prepared, as all shrink-to-fit Levis take several washings to work out the extreme wrinkling. Better to wash them 5-6 times before wearing.

The shipping took a few days longer than I expected, and I thought I was ordering the original "stiff" denim. I ordered the darkest blue offered. The pants shrank fine, and look nice........didn't want to return to get old fashioned denim levis and wait. Hoping the material wears well.
