I had an exact pair of these jeans, the Amanda jeans from Gloria Vanderbilt. I loved the ones I have so I just ordered another pair from Kohls.
The new pair is smaller than the old pair even though I bought the exact same size. Not sure if they are mismarked, or if I gained weight. I have been on a diet, so I will keep them in hopes of them fitting more correctly in the future. I was disappointed that they didn't fit.
I would like to see Kohls provide measurements of the actual garment. I am also tall, and so I take a longer length shirt. I don't order shirts because I have no way of knowing if they will be long enough. Just a thought!

I like the fact that these do not look like those dreaded "mommy" jeans. (In case you are wondering, let's just say that I am over 40 years of age). I am current a 16W short (but I wear regular 16 short at times when I stay away from ... lol .... potatoes and rice, etc). I like the rise in these because the rise is not too low nor is it too high ... no "Steve Urkel" look ... lol). They look good and are extremely comfortable. The reason I did not give five stars is because the one pair of jeans I purchased in this particular order were apparently mislabeled. (Yes, sometimes, accidents happen. I understand). This particular pair is sized more like a 18W short as it is two inches bigger in the waist than a 16W short. I already removed the labels when I discovered the size discrepancy. However, I am a seamstress, so I merely created elastic panels in each side of the waist and they fit just fine now and look good as well. (I know the elastic panels are there, but nobody else can tell). This did not stop me from ordering an additional three (3) pair in 16W short. Let me just say ALL three (3) of these fit like a 16W short should. I am completely satisfied! Since this is the case, I would say that these jeans usually run true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by AlisC My issue with GV Jeans
Hopefully whoever in the company that orders GV jeans will listen and take note, I have been wearing GV for over 20 years. I wear a size 24, I have found the fit & cut in the jeans depends on where the jeans were made. The ones made in India or Sri Lanka are not true to size and way too small, the jeans made in Egypt fit perfectly BUT none of the stores near me have Jeans made in Egypt. This is why I buy 5-6 pairs when I do find them, because I know I won't be able to find them again. If the mgmt. team can get motivated and see that Size 24 jeans made in Sri Lanka are not selling and sitting on the shelves like I see, while those made on Egypt can't be kept in stock. They need to re-evaluate where their products are coming from, also I noticed sizes 26 & 28 are few and far between.
