Rated 1 out of 5Â by BlueHydrangea Sizing???
I've resently lost a lot of weight and needed new underwear. I measured myself and technically I should be wearing a 6. I ordered the 7 to make sure they fit a little loose. The 7s are too small! They are tight and constricting. I do not understand this at all. I'm a size L/12 in clothes but I'm still a plus size in underwear???? Furthermore, I've purchased 2 packs and I can't return them because they are underwear. I'm so disappointed. These used to be my favorite underwear. Now I don't know what to do. The waist measures 13 inches unstretched.

I have been buying the Jockey Elance briefs for many years. The price is definitely right and the order came exactly on the day I was told it would.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by AnnaT Same size, less fabric!
I bought several pairs of these briefs a few years ago, and loved them. When I needed more, I ordered the exact same size as I did before. Right out of the package, they looked smaller than the previous version. When I put a pair on, indeed, they were not as generously cut as they had been before; they were snug. After washing, however, it's another story. Out of the 6 pairs of briefs, 3 or 4 of them shrank enough that it's uncomfortable to wear them; the other 2 are tolerable. If ordering again, I'd order at least 1 size, possibly 2, bigger than I need to allow for the reduced fabric in the briefs and for shrinkage. Very disappointing!

I have been buying these for several years, both at the store and on-line. They used to be comfortable and well made. Well, I have to now agree with one of the reviewers who warned that they were cut "smaller" -- except that they are not so much cut smaller as they are now cut more like hip-hugger style. I didn't want a hip hugger style, I wanted a full brief. When a customer wants a full brief, that means that we are not interested in a more fashion-forward, low rise version of what we used to be comfortable with. What is Jockey thinking? I probably won't onder these again and will switch to another brand.
