by FrugalRhonda A good towel at a good price.
I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this towel. I think it comes down to are you super picky or do you appreciate a good towel at a good price. I almost did not buy these towels based on the completely different reviews. It is hard to believe everyone got the same towels and is reviewing the same item.
I posted pictures showing what the towel looked like before I washed it, my washing machine immediately following washing them for the first time and the towels after they were washed, dried, and folded. I personally did not experience any lint or balls in my washing machine nor did my towels come out with balls all over them. They did not fray when they were washed either.
The towels I purchased were/are absorbent and I have washed them several times. They are much larger than many other towels. Are they super thick?, no. Are they really thin?, no. They are somewhere in the middle. I have definitely seen towels much thinner and much smaller.
The bottom line is..... if you want high end top of the line towels you are going to pay a high end price. If you are looking for a good towel at a good price this towel works great.
Again, I am surprised all the mixed reviews are on the same towel. I'm not sure if someone bought the smaller ones and put the review here instead or if people bought a good towel, but expected a top of the line (high end) towel.

by GrmaOF14 Perfect for an adult bib I made for my mom
My mom has Alzheimers and is in a nursing home. I bought this towel in 5 different colors to make some adult bibs for her, using my machine embroidery designs to fancy them up. I've only finished this first one so far, but it came out perfect. I am delighted with it. As you can see in the picture, I haven't finished the closure yet, but will soon.

by GentleHugs beautiful looking and awesome deal money wise
I bought 16 towels because this gave me the best price... unfortunately I gifted 8 of them... I am on my third washing and drying of these towels and am still getting a lint tray full.. .and I mean full... of lint from these towels... my washer still has much lint that I have to clean out before I can wash anything else... I explained to the person I gifted 8 to that it is getting better with each washing but after the third I am still getting too much lint... we laughed when I said if this continues happening there will be no more towel to wash... have never had a problem like this with any of kohls products... pic of gray lint in tray is to show you the amount of lint I will get from 3 to 4 washes of whatever... and the size of lint tray... I rolled this brown from the top to the bottom of tray... it covered entire tray... and again this is third washing...
Rated 2 out of 5Â by Fuzzhead Lint and more lint!
I started off by washing the lot of six towels I bought in various colors. Being bald, I shave what hair does grow every saturday, leaving a stubble to grow the rest of the week. I had fuzz that my stubble grabbed off these towels out of the shower so bad, I had to jump back in and use a different towel.
The colors are great, the material seems good enough quality and is soft, but even after a second washing I am still battling a ton of pilling and lint. Doesn't matter how much I dry it...OH and the clothes I washed with these towels had GOBS of lint on them...forget washing darks with these towels!
I'll keep washing them, I guess...any suggestions?
