I recently re-purchased these sleep pants for my husband. His previous ones wore out and while I was able, in the past, to purchase these at the Hanes outlet, I was unable to do so recently. They fit and wash well. After reading some of the negative reviews about shrinkage, I simply hang them to dry. The description on the Hanes website does not indicate what "comfort soft" means. I wanted to ensure that I was purchasing a 100% cotton knit pant, not a blend or a woven. Through customer service I was able to confirm the fabric content and details of this item.

Soft, comfortable, and fits! Having a larger waist than an inseam, I've had a hard time finding sleep pants. (I don't care what you call them, they're PJs) Being retired, I don't have to get dressed. I bought a pair a while ago. They were so comfortable that I ended up buying enough to get me through the week. The sleep pants are constructed so well that I'm replacing them. My only complaint is that the colors and patterns seem to be limited. If you want camo, they're always in stock.

These pants are light weight and very comfortable. They are very good for lounging and sleeping in because they are cotton and not to heavy.
The only issue I have is with the length of the pant. I wear a 36 inch waist in regular pants and I am 6' 1" tall. The 31" inseam makes it such that no matter what I do, I even ordered a pair in 2XL to compensate for the length, after washing these pants they shrink up to the point where they are just not long enough.
Because they are so comfortable and I am wearing them in my own home, I over-look this issue!
I would suggest that the pants either be offered in a longer length or made in a standard 32" inseam.

My husband is bed-ridden. Being so, comfort is paramount. I have been buying his regular size, medium, and have found out that this old size is no longer the right size for him. When I bought these Hanes pajamas, I decided to get the Large size, and was very pleased with the result. It fits him comfortably, especially since the material is also very soft and nice next to the skin, and very importantly, the waist elastic band is not tight like the ones I have bought earlier (not from Hanes). The length may have mattered if he were ambulatory. But since he is bed-ridden, that extra length works to his advantage as it provides extra needed coverage especially when the weather gets cold.
