Due to a family member with celiac disease, I cook 99% of our meals at home - that means my pots and pans get a workout! I've been through several large fry pans in the past few years, including several types of PFOA-free non-stick. I finally decided to go the old-fashioned route with a stainless steel pan. What a difference! This pan heats and cooks evenly, sits flat without spinning on my glass surface stove and I'm not limited to non-scratch implements. Clean up is so easy with a steel wool pad. The pan holds a large volume - I recently made spaghetti sauce with two pounds of ground beef and two jars of sauce, and the pan was about 3/4 full.

My wife and I bought a complete set of Calphalon Classic Stainless Steel cookware two months ago. There is a brief learning curve to using the cookware as instructed. Once you find the lower setting that works best with your stove and stainless steel cookware you can begin to enjoy cooking and saving energy. I never had cookware that heated this evenly nor knew what a difference it makes while cooking. Vegetables and meats alike brown like never before. Truly a joy when used as directed. Clean up as specified is easy and the pans look like brand new every time we use them. Stainless steel is SUPER! Note there are several types offered at varying price points so be sure to choose the one that fits your needs and budget. You won't be sorry, Mike & Janis.

I have slowly been purchasing the Classic stainless steel series for a wile now and I am always satisfied with the cookware. The most recent purchase of the 12" fry pan is no exception. A great pan and at an affordable price. The only thing I dislike on the classic pans is the sharpness of the edge of the pan. Have to be careful when cleaning them by hand

I bought an entire set of stainless cookware and love it. It takes some getting used to - use lower heat, season the pan a bit, etc, but it's great. Stains on the inside are easily taken care of with barkeepers friend, just reason after.
