went on line to order 2 more pairs. Rinse in14T and Everglade also in 14T. Rinse was made in Sri Lanka and is 86%cotton/13%polyester/1%elastane. Everglade was made in
Egypt and also is 98%cotton/2%spandex. Pants from 3 different
countries, and all fit differently. Must return the rinse as they are
really baggy in in the thigh and leg area. May keep the Everglade
as they are just a tad baggy, but will wash and see what happens.
My last time to order any thing on line with out trying it on.
to many variables.

I own several pair of gloria Vanderbilt pants. The new ones I have are supposed to be an 8 average. As are the other ones I own. The new ones are a good 1 & 1/2 inches smaller in the waist than my other gloria Vanderbilt Amanda style jeans that are size 8. I see no point in returning these I will just hang onto them until my local store gets in more size 8s. These need to be tried on for fit before purchase.

I have worn the Amanda's for many years and love that they are offered in multiple colors (both fall and spring colors) and in tall lengths. I prefer heels and am 5'6", so these are great. My closest friend is much shorter and she wears them also, since they also offer short versions. The only thing I would add is more colors in the taller lengths, as the spring/summer line (pastels) doesn't come in taller versions. I personally like the higher waist, but some of my friends would prefer lower waists. They are a really great jean and I hope they continue to be carried in the Vanderbilt line.

These are the only jeans on the market that fit me like they should. I have smaller waist and larger hips and thighs and these are perfect for me. Also like the fact they come in 3 inseams. While I am only 5'6" tall I often get the tall inseam. I went to school in the 60's and I have no desire to wear "highwater" pants like was the fashion back then! That is ankle length or a bit above for you younger gals. Hold up well, wash well, and look good on. Also fit at the waist which this Greatgrandma loves. For me as perfect as they get. Love the wide selection of colors also.
