I purchased this towel holder for several reasons, first I wanted a brushed nickel look, second I didn't want any embellishments - just a simple style and last I wanted a good value.... I got all three of my criteria with this product. In addition, I have found it to be very functional - doesn't move or tip on the counter and it actually holds on the the paper so that I don't pull off more towels than I need.....

I love this paper towel holder. It looks great and works well. It's heavy enough that you truly only need one hand to tear a sheet off. Also love that you don't have to remove the knob on the top so replacing a new roll is fast and easy. I've had an under-the-counter holder for years and never thought about getting a standing holder until recently, now I wished I'd bought one years ago. Would highly recommend.

This was the one I liked, he did not. After it broke and my husband wanted one that was mounted under the cabinets and had a bar which you had to unscrew and thread the role onto, then re-screw the end on. This is the one HE liked. I told him I would agree to have this type, but I would NEVER be the one to mess around putting the roll on the holder.
We just remodeled our kitchen after 33 years of marriage and we now have an island. We both agreed on this free standing holder and we are BOTH extremely satisfied with the one handed-one sheet use of it, as well as the low profile it has while it sits on our island. Long marriage, and still going strong through compromise. It's the little things that make us happy.

This towel holder is in my basement, so I don't use it frequently and I have owned it only for about two months. However, one thing it claims is that you can tear off a sheet of toweling paper with one hand, and that is true. The holder doesn't wobble or spin when you tear off a towel. It seems substantial enough, and simple in styling to not be garish.
