I bought this unit in March of 2014....it very simply does not clean the floors at all... the brushes just barely touch the floor at all.. it does suck up the water but the unit also leaks very easily where the reservoir connects and once you shut it off it leaks intermittently as well. I have had Hoovers all of my adult life and normally they are great but this product just does not do the job... I now wish I hadnt given the product the the benefit of the doubt and had returned it. But instead I assumed I just didnt know how to use it correctly. Now after months of trying to make this thing work as it should. I read that I am not alone... very disappointing.

I have owned a few of the other spinscrub models, but this one is my favorite. This model has a smaller cleaning path and is more lightweight. Other than not having a vacuum function it works the same and I love the tanks on the side. I read a review that you need to take screws out to clean the filter, but I just reach in, pull it out, clean it under running water and put it back in. I don't unscrew anything. I like the sponge filter better than the filter on the other models as well. I have 1900 sq. ft. of white tile throughout my house and this machine keeps it super clean without much effort on my part. I would buy this product again.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this floor cleaner!!
I have a little one crawling and am constantly cleaning the floors. I used this floor cleaner for the first time, and after using it, the dirty water was "like chocolate milk", which is hard to believe since I cleaned the floors only a couple days prior.
This cleaner is awesome because It is like a carpet cleaner for your tile. While it does take longer to clean your floors than using a typical mop and bucket, it is worth it once you see how dirty the water is after you use the cleaner.
The best part is that my back isn't killing me after using this, and the clean water is kept separate from the dirty water, unlike the conventional mop and bucket.

It would take me an hour to wash my hardwood floors on my hands and knees. The floors never really got clean as you really are only pushing the water around. I would even dry the floor with an old towel, but I know it did not get up all of the dirt. After cleaning the floor and using a paper towel to wipe up a spill of water on the floor I would still find dirt. When I used the Hoover Hardwood Floor Cleaner I was shocked at all of the dirty water it pulled up off of the floor. Yes, it could be designed better as it seems to leak when it is on but not moving and also leaves a puddle of water when it is turned off. To be honest I do not mind having to wipe up the little puddle at the end when I see how clean my floors are. Now I can take a paper towel to wipe up a spill of water and there is no dirt to be found.
