First of all the battery only last 2 hrs if you are lucky if not plugged in. 2nd there is no warning if it were to go dead. You just look and gone. 3rd is while using the scanning option between 2 rooms/kids there is a loud click every time it switches screens. Hard for sleeping parents to not constantly check when they hear a noise. Last bad thing is that it is LOUD. Even on the lowest level it sounds like the baby is screaming. Not to mention any back round noise. I am disappointed in this product. Split screen is great and if it would properly the dual actions would be great for the 2 separate children's rooms.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by RNmomma We are really happy with this monitor.
This is our second video monitor we've had for our daughter. We decided to buy a new one when the old one (different brand) couldn't be unplugged for two seconds without the battery going dead!
In comparison to our previous monitor this screen is huge and the image is much clearer. The features are user friendly, just read the directions for setup. I am looking forward to having a monitor with the pan/tilt/zoom function for our daughter who is going to be moving into a big girl bed soon.
The only things I do wish the monitor had as functions (which it may and I haven't read the directions! ) is a low battery signal alarm and a temperature sensor (our old one had that and it was handy especially with a newborn but it wasn't entirely accurate).
Rated 4 out of 5Â by BusyMomof2Under2 Love being able to watch both my children at once
I bought these monitors to be able to watch both of my children (1 year old and 3 month old) in separate rooms. The only thing I didn't realize until after I purchased it was that it only comes with one monitor. The Summer Infant monitor I had previously had a handheld monitor and a larger monitor which I kept by my bedside. However, this set only comes with one medium sized handheld monitor.

This monitor has an awful battery life. It has to be plugged in 24/7. Also, after a couple of weeks, there was no signal from my 1st floor to the 2nd, so it was just a black screen; and my house is not even that big!! I would not recommend this monitor to my worst enemy!
